About us:

Black Hills Deer Camp was originally established in 1996 to serve a family passion for living in a natural setting, however brief a duration, while enjoying the journey of discovery as nature chose to relinquish her vast secrets.  The company was organized as a limited liability company in 2008 in order to more fully participate in organized forest and habitat management activities as well as share our experiences and serve and assist others to be able to enjoy camp and cabin life.

The company is entirely privately held.  In addition to its property holdings, the company owns two additional domains, cabinlivin.com and cottagelivin.com for the purpose of offering a selection of products to enhance the cabin and camp living experience.  Proceeds fund research and further efforts to manage the property to the maximum advantage of its forests, fields and water features while enhancing wildlife habitat.  Wherein possible, a percentage of revenue will be donated to just charitable causes where it is deemed to do the most good in furthering the understanding of our natural resources.
